Cruisin’ in March…
28 February 2009Although there are tons of snow outside, the amount of upcoming cruises in March tells a different story: We’re heading towards warmer days! We tell you about some possibilities for a roll out with like-minded people this month.
There’s a small cruise in Moenchengladbach/Germany on Sunday, March 1st. The route leads through the city with a stop at the Borussenpark. Meeting time and point is 12 o’clock at the main station. The cruise itself will start at half past 12 and end estimated at 5 p.m. again at the station.
One week later the Curry Cruise takes place in Düsselorf/Meerbusch/Kaarst. All cruiser meet up at 1pm at the “Haus der Räder” / Giemes road 18 in Kaarst. Non-resident ones are led from the station to the meeting place. From the starting point it goes over Meerbush to the ferry in Kierst. After crossing the river with the ferry it’s lunch time and that means “Curry sausage”! There are special prices for all cyclists! Afterwards the route leads to the centre of Duesseldorf. Posing for the people walking by, having some beer, talking about bikes until the ways of all separate at Duesseldorf main station.
Also in Osnabrück there’s a cruise! Here are the facts: Saturday, March 14th, 12 o’clock, main station, start at 1 p.m.. The route leads through the Natruper wood straight to Lake Rubbenbruchsee. This route measures about 22km and includes 2 rises. After the cruise some guys will have 2 to 17 beer with the others in a tavern in Osnabrück…
Of course there’s a cruise in March in the secret Cruiser capital of Germany. Nuremberg? No, it’s Luebeck! The boys have a clear advantage by the proximity to sea… This statement can be discussed in the comments! That’s gonna be interesting! Back to topic: Michi of Junior’s Club from Hamburg criticised rightfully that persons employed in the retail trade cannot participate quite often in Cruises, since those always take place on Saturday. So the “For Michi Cruise” was born. The cruise takes place on March 22nd in Luebeck and in the closer surrounding countryside. Meeting point? Holstentor, of course!
There is still another first view on April! Equal to monthly beginning there is the second season highlight after the EBK: Park & Ride in Bochum. This year it’s already the 5th meeting and that means: celebration! Mark this date in your calendar! We’ll give you more information…
PG Bikes wishes much fun to all Cruiser, whether it is at one of the meetings listed here, a spontaneous cruise with few like-minded or at the daily morning trip to the bakery.
Keep On Rolling!
